  • How often should I brush and floss?
    Brushing and flossing is imperative to good dental health. You should brush at least twice a day, once in the morning and once before going to bed. It can't hurt to also brush after lunch. Flossing is important to remove the food and bacteria that a toothbrush cannot get to between your teeth. Flossing at least once a day is ideal.
  • How often should I have dental exam and cleaning?
    It is recommended to have a dental exam and cleaning every six months. This helps in identifying any dental needs before they become bigger problems. Also, this ensures that tartar and plaque are not causing bacterial buildup which then can lead to gum disease.
  • Why is oral hygiene so important during pregnancy?
    Pregnancy is a time when hormones are at all their all time high. Any tartar or plaque in the gums can cause an exaggerated response therefore leading to gingivitis sooner. This is called pregnancy gingivitis. It is imperative that you take care of your health during pregnancy and this also includes your gums so that you will be better prepared to take care of your new little one. Ensure that even during pregnancy you maintain your six month cleanings. Any other treatment will need to have prior approval by your physician.

    We ask that you please cancel, if needed, 24 hours before your appointment time. If you do not comply with this, a $25 no show fee may be posted to your account.
