Invsialign® Clear Aligners![]() How Does Invisalign Work?Invisalign has revolutionized the world of orthodontics, giving patients the comfort of plastic aligners that will straighten teeth over time. Invisalign uses a set of plastic aligners that go over your teeth and help to gently pull and push your teeth into alignment. Using an iTero Element scanner, your dentist can make a fast and precise 3D scan of your teeth. This 3D scan allows your dentist to map out your custom treatment plan, helping to mold your first plastic aligner. Your dentist will ensure they fit properly in your mouth when you get the first aligner molded. After getting your first mold, we will schedule checkups with you every six to eight weeks to check the progress of your teeth alignment journey. You will also be refitted for new aligners each visit, which will help to align your teeth with time. You should begin seeing results within only a few weeks of wearing your first plastic aligner. Since Invisalign are clear, they are virtually invisible to the naked eye, giving you peace of mind knowing you can still smile the way you want to in public. You can also remove your Invisalign while eating or brushing your teeth, which is unique to Invisalign. How Long Do You Wear Invisalign Braces?Invisalign is designed to start showing results within the first few weeks of wearing them. However, it will be a slow process, so it may take until the end of your first molded aligner to see any significance. If you suffer from mild to moderate misalignment, your Invisalign journey may typically take around six months to complete. If you suffer from a severe unalignment, it may take you several more months, up to a year, for your journey to finish. Most patients find that Invisalign is not only the most aesthetically pleasing, but they also work faster than traditional braces. Cost of InvisalignThe cost of Invisalign is variable, depending mainly on the amount of time you will need to wear them. However, they are priced between $2,500 to $6,000 typically, although it could be slightly higher if you have a severe alignment issue. Our office will be able to work with you to help you figure out the pricing and may potentially offer you a payment plan option. Invisalign is still cheaper than braces, which usually range between $3,500 to $8,000, and offers better benefits and quicker results than typical braces.
